PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) - this treatment option allows patients to heal from their own body. It involves drawing a small amount of blood, spinning it in a centrifuge machine to separate the platelets (growth/healing factors in your blood) and reintroducing them in a concentrated volume to the affected site (knee, elbow, shoulder, hip, etc). Stem Cell Injections -This minor procedure can be performed in the office and is recommended for patients who have failed many other treatment options.

VISCOSUPPLEMENT INJECTIONS
For the Arthritic Knee
For those patients suffering with a painful arthritic knee, a gel-like medication (called hyaluronic acid) can be injected into the knee joint to provide extra cushion and alleviate pain. Only your doctor can determine if viscosupplement injections are right for you and your orthopedic knee issue.
